Proxy Authority or sometimes referred to as The Ministry is a bureaucratic body that oversees the remaining colonies throughout the world.

General Information

Proxy Authority works for the Planetary Authority, their Combine overlords. Their tasks consist of but not limited to; bureaucracy, producing propaganda, stabilization, intelligence gathering, mediation, report writing, and decision making. Additional tasks include faxing documents to governing bodies such as the divisional CMBN authority, Civil Service, and Ministry of Civil Protection.

Skilled Civil Service bureaucrats with proven track record may request a transfer to join the Proxy Authority as a cabinet member.

Cabinet Positions

Proxy Governor

Proxy Governors are responsible for governing the city by exercising the authority given to them by the Planetary Authority. Proxy Governor's also serve as the face of the Combine within suppressed population centers, and conduct lectures, speeches, and appearances to advocate obedience. The role of Proxy Governor is to ensure that city operations run smoothly and without interruption. They have complete authority over the ministerial staff, Overwatch Stabilization Teams, and the workforce.

Consul

Consul acts as a delegate to the Proxy Governor, and aids the Proxy Governor by overseeing city operations, helping to develop a loyal workforce, maximizing the city's work performance. During the Proxy Governor's absence, Consul acts the Proxy Governor. While the exact nature of the role varies in each administration, Consul serves as a key advisor, governing partner, and representative of the Proxy Governor.

Magistrate

Magistrates are ministerial officers with a limited authority to oversee and enforce the civil law. Their primary objective is to monitor and document the activities of malefactors for the Proxy Governor. The role consists of organizing and conducting "kangaroo courts", or impromptu court hearings, for citizens found in severe violation of the law (typically terminal verdicts), and conducting and/or leading interrogations on prisoners within the Stabilization Jurisdiction. Magistrate works closely with the Ministry of Civil Protection to produce results.
